CocoVail’s 8th Anniversary Party
CocoVail, celebrates craft beer in Barcelona with its ninth anniversary party in September 2025. The location is a redesigned 19th century textile factory. Now its transformed to Barcelona’s First Beer Hall. Many of our friends from the local craft beer scene plan to attend the event.*Below are some before and after images, followed by a video to showcase its transition.*
The event includes specials for food and beer, a kids’ zone for the families, live music and more surprises. We will be updating our social media frequently with more details in the coming days: Instagram& Facebook.
CocoVail adds its American-style to a burgeoning craft beer industry in Barcelona. Craft beer is well known in foreign countries such as The United States and Germany, but never before experienced by locals here, not like this at least.Where else can you find craft beers, poké bowls, and American-style chicken wings in Barcelona?
A rustic set of long, communal tables to share, 6 large televisions, great music and table games such as: Jenga, Cards Against Humanity, or UNO create a friendly and cozy atmosphere, which is characteristic of a Beer Hall. A perfect location right in the city center (meters away from Casa Batlló) allows for many tourists to stop by, thus creating a diverse, international vibe that combines tourists, foreign residents, and locals.
AC’s Take on CocoVail’s Previous Anniversary
“A great adventure has just begun, what an adventure! Two years ago we had an abandoned garage in front of us, and now we are finally creating the community we envisioned. It means the world to celebrate our 3rd anniversary with you all!”
He added some thoughts on the craft beer community in Barcelona.
“In CocoVail, we host many regional/ local beers. We believe in supporting a growing, passionate industry here. It is important to provide fresh, local ingredients delivered to our clients right after production. This way they don’t lose quality from long transportation points. For instance, we have close relationships with Poblenou’s Edge Brewing or La Espiga from Vilafranca del Penedès.We are looking forward to building up this culture here, while adding to the diverse tapestry of flavors and styles of craft beer emerging in and around Barcelona.”
