The Tour de France Starts in Barcelona!
The 2026 Tour de France makes history by beginning in Barcelona for the Grand Départ on Saturday, July 4th. The opening stage is a spectacular 19.6 km team time trial, with the world’s best teams racing through some of Barcelona’s most iconic streets before finishing near Montjuïc. It’s only the third time the Tour has started in Spain and promises an incredible weekend for cycling fans.
Watch the Riders Pass Right Outside CocoVail on July 4th
One of the most exciting parts of this year’s Grand Départ is that the race route passes directly in front of CocoVail Beer Hall.
That means on Saturday, July 4th, you can:
- Watch the world’s best cycling teams race past our front door
- Experience the electric atmosphere as Barcelona hosts the opening stage
- Grab a beer before and after the riders come through
- Stay to watch the rest of the live TV coverage inside
Few venues in Barcelona offer the chance to enjoy both the roadside action and the full television broadcast in one place.
If you’re planning to watch the race in person, we recommend arriving early to secure a great viewing spot before relaxing inside CocoVail for food, drinks, and continued race coverage.
Every Stage Live Throughout July
The excitement doesn’t stop after Stage 1.
We’ll be showing every major stage of the Tour, including:
- Flat sprint finishes
- Dramatic mountain stages
- Individual time trials
- The battle for the Yellow Jersey
- The final ride into Paris
The 2026 Tour features 21 stages covering over 3,300 km, including legendary climbs in the Pyrenees and Alps before finishing on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
